We want our lives to count for something and to know with certainty that our brief time on earth really mattered. We know in our hearts that we still have lots of life left to live. But where to start? Forward From 50’s book Fifty Over 50 provides dozens of short profiles of people who are actively pursuing new direction for their lives after turning 50.
Hello, I’m Greg Gerber. I developed Forward From 50 in 2021 after struggling with “apathy creep” for several years. I wasn’t motivated to do anything productive. Just passing time was making me sullen and angry. I was losing enthusiasm for life.
During that period, I discovered I wasn’t alone. Many people were told this era was their “golden years,” but they often wondered if there could be more to life. It became my purpose to help “seasoned citizens” apply their unique skills, talents and life experiences to enjoy a more purposeful and fulfilling life.
